Ha Giang boosts economic development through forest management

With a large forest area of 556,000 hectares, or nearly 56% of the province's total area, the management of Ha Giang's forests faces many difficulties. Local authorities have to handle over 100 cases of forest law violations and illegal logging each year. To address these issues, since 2015, Nấm Dẩn commune in Xín Mần district of Ha Giang province has allocated land and forests to local people.
