A Lo Lo ethnic women’s outfit includes a scarf, shirt, pants, an apron, a belt, a skirt, and shoes. The scarves of Lo Lo ethnic women in Ha Giang are often black or indigo and are embellished with many decorations.

When dressed in their traditional costumes, Lo Lo ethnic women also wear silver jewellery, which adds even more charm to the outfit.

According to their particular costumes and culture, the Lo Lo can be divided into two sub-groups: ‘Lo Lo Den’ and ‘Lo Lo Hoa’, with the costumes of the Lo Lo Hoa people being more colourful than those of the Lo Lo Hoa.
