Roads full of aspiration

For a locality facing difficulties like Ha Giang, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (the first phase) is expected to remove "bottlenecks" for the socio-economic development of the northernmost region.

Thanks to the successful site clearance work, the construction units have mobilised machinery and focused on opening the expressway ground.

In parallel with opening the roadbed, the construction of pedestrian overpasses on the expressway has been underway.

Key traffic projects have received regular and drastic attention and direction from the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee through many inspections, urging the removal of project difficulties.

About three kilometres of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway’s roadbed through Hung An and Vinh Hao Communes and Vinh Tuy Town (Bac Quang) have been opened.

The project of renovating and upgrading Bac Quang - Xin Man Road, under the Provincial Road DT177, is one of the key traffic projects and the main artery to open up the economic flow for the western districts of Ha Giang Province. Its construction began in 2022, with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND. Up to now, the opening of the roadbed for the entire route has almost been completed.

The grade 1 crushed aggregates have been constructed in some sections of the DT177 Project.

The construction units on the Bac Quang - Xin Man Road have made efforts to overcome all difficulties under the sun and rain.

To promptly resolve difficulties, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son and the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Thi Minh Hanh have regularly and directly inspected and directed the acceleration of the progress of key traffic infrastructure projects in the province.

To create synchronisation in traffic infrastructure, upgrading Provincial Road DT183 is one of the province’s major traffic projects, with construction starting in 2023.

The asphalt concrete pavement section of Provincial Road DT183 through Vi Thuong Commune has been completed.

- Provincial Road DT176 has been actively upgraded under the scale of a grade-four mountainous road.

The Provincial Road DT176 upgrade project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024. Once completed, the path from Yen Minh to Meo Vac will facilitate trade and tourism development, especially tourist route No. 4 to Dong Van Stone Plateau.

The Quang Binh - Xin Man Road (DT178) is under construction. The machines and equipment are levelling, creating land, and cutting corners.

The upgraded DT178 Road is one of the provincial roads constructed since 2023. This is also the last provincial road to be built according to the Resolution on the breakthrough in building transport infrastructure, towards affirming the Provincial Party Committee’s determination to make a breakthrough in the 2020 – 2025 tenure.

In addition to provincial roads, the investment in hundreds of projects to upgrade district and commune roads across the province have also promoted.
